Domaine Biblia Chora - Areti Red, 750ml
Red, Dry, Still, Agiorgitiko PGI Paggaio.
Food pairing rich meat casseroles, liver pâté, deli meats, aged cheeses.
Bottle: 750ml
Alc.: 14%vol.
This wine originates from the Greek noble varietal, Agiorgitiko. It is the varietal’s first successful “escape” from the Nemea region.
After cold maceration at 6°C for a few days, it is vinified using conventional red wine methods and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
It has a deep red colour, with violet hues. Dense aromas of wild cherries, cherry marmalade and mulberries alternate with chocolate, vanilla and spices for an exquisite sense of the typical Agiorgitiko wine.
In the mouth, it is expansive with round tannins and a pleasant cherry aroma. It has a fruity and long-lasting finish.
It can be enjoyed at 16-18°C now, and over the next 10 years.
