Papaioannou Microclima is produced at a small, yet top-quality vineyard at Nemea area. It is aromatic and of strong taste, with excellent balance of acidity and tannins, and long-lasting aftertaste.
In the 40 ectares of our estate vineyard, in Nemea, we cultivate Greek as well as international varieties, emphasing on Agiorgitiko (Nemea grape), typical of the region. From this vineyard we choose the best of Agiorgitiko to produce this wine with care, love and dedication to the tradition and the exceptionality of the Greek Vineyard. The long period of extraction and the maturing in new oak casks for 20 months had given us a robust, dark-coloured wine, rick in noble tannins with intense presence of varietal aromas and bouquet. MICROCLIMA vintage 2005 has given us 3.600 bottles. Enjoy it over the next 10 years or more.
